(Free) Tax Programs

In case you've waited till the last moment, you can still do your taxes on-line and sometimes for very cheap. This year I had to switch from TurboTax because they changed the requirements for free filing and I no longer could meet them. So I went looking elsewhere on the Net and found CompleteTax . They have requirements as well, but not as stringent as TurboTax (which now requires that you meet the requirements for the Earned Income Credit or be older than 62,etc). H&R Block is also a possibility, but they charge for State Tax filing and CompleteTax does not. Note - these free filing programs are for folks who don't make lots of $$$. :) They are also quite easy to use. You can save your info at any time and return to the online form whenever you wish. I've used these programs for the last few years now, without a problem.
